Honour-Barbara Centre
                                                           

 The lead facilitator and SLT, Honour Barbara, was once a stutterer and a stammerer at the same time for twenty-six (26) years. After years of consultation, education (training) and hard-work.

 Having acquired training with a number of training Centres both homeland and international, Honour Barbara has devoted her life to ensuring that determined speech impaired persons will be helped to overcome speaking stress (stuttering/stammering). She considers one's inability to speak naturally as a dream killer, a demoralizer of hope and self-esteem.
She is willing and ready to impact the 'know-how' to others who are determined to overcome and be fluent in speech, contribute to society and the world at large. 

With Honour Barbara, 'Speaking is Life...Speech is Ultimate!' 



Who  WE ARE



The Honour-Barbara Centre has the passion of helping, supporting and giving hope to the impaired in speech. Not only does the Centre seek to advocate for the impaired in speech or create awareness that they are, so must be helped and supported, but mainly to help them overcome by showing them the 'how' to being free from speaking stress in order to math on the path of speech perfection and fluency.

The Honour-Barbara Centre is registered in the UK. It was founded and commenced its operations in February, 2016 and was registered on 4th April,2017 in Ghana. 
What  WE DO

The speech impaired is the category of persons in our society who are challenged in speech and have difficulties in bringing out words. We may have experienced them in one way or the other in the course of life and you may agree with me that this condition is appalling and depleting even to the health of the impaired in speech.

This thus hails appreciation at the efforts of the Imperial Centre for Speech Perfection and Public Speaking (HBCentre4Speech), whose object focuses mainly on the ‘How’ to overcoming speaking stress (stuttering/stammering) among speech impaired persons, placing them on the path towards fluency, along with advocating and creating the awareness that speech impaired persons in society need to be helped and their concerns met.

The speech impaired is one category of persons who need fun most; as they interact with people of different backgrounds, involve in fun-creation activities and are amused, they laugh much, and in the process are healed from within. 
Through its myriad techniques toward impacting, the Centre uses the JCILFA and PTYBI to overcome speaking stress among the speech impaired and restore fluency. The duration of the therapy/training programme is 6 - 12 weeks.

 The therapy is cost involving, thus, it is prudent accordingly, on our part to draw close to socially responsible persons like you and your organization, so to be supported financially..
Our  MISSION & OBJECTIVE

1.    To liberate generations of speech impaired individuals (Stammerers/Stutterers) through the creation of a conducive environment with the set platform to restore fluency and perfect their speech.
2.    To train & develop disabled and normal individuals, groups, executives and general speakers with Public Speaking Skills and Presentation Mastery.

Our  IMPACTING PROJECTS
1.    The Stutterers' Clinic
The project focuses mainly on the ‘How’ to overcoming speaking stress (stuttering/stammering) among speech impaired persons, placing them on the path towards fluency, along with advocating and creating the awareness that speech impaired persons in society need to be helped and their concerns met.

2.     At 13 Project
The project focuses on nurturing the potential of disabled persons especially teens and young adults)

3.    The Stutterers Healthcare Walk
The project focuses on providing the health needs of stutterers who have signed up with the Clinic amidst healthy living lifestyles (keep fit session, health walk)
